Spring In Prospect Park

Now that the beautiful weather has arrived Dylan and I have been out and about in the park. This was our third time to the zoo and Dylan really showed an interest in the animals as well as having some independence from the stroller. He was fearless feeding the sheep thanks to Keith training him to feed Sawyer, the dog next door. Of course, the most exciting part of the sea lion feeding was hanging off the bars with Sylvie and Zoe. During the performance, Dylan and I sat in the shade and ate Veggie Bootie. Snacks, a Mommy's life-saver!

We also enjoyed a yummy picnic with Sylvie and Issac. Of course, it was a bit different than last year when Dylan sat in one spot while I spoon fed him any and everything. Now he eats, rolls around in the food, throws a ball in the grass, smooshes some strawberries in his mouth and then refuses to share his twelve pieces of chalk with his pals. His favorite word is no followed with a hand thrust. I just try to remember that this is all developmental and think what would Rebecca do?
